  • Description
A party game based on short timed improvisations. A player picks two card randomly, one with a character and one with a (unrelated) situation and tries to act it out so that his/her teammates can guess what the two cards say. The character is either a fictional character, a historical character, or a real person depending on what space of the board the player landed on.Like Taboo, the player is not allowed to say any of the words on the cards. The player is allowed to say what the character might say in that situation, use synonyms, body language, descriptive clues, etc. The game requires a fair amount of creativity since the combinations are often quite bizarre. This was a Games 100 winner.Crazy Talk is set up much like pictionary. One person on the team sees the situation and character cards. The teammates only know if the character is historical figure, a character from fiction, a person identified only by occupation (i.e. taxi driver) or wild card (one of the previous three categories). They don't know the specific character or the situation. The teammates try to guess the situation from the acting their teammate does. If they guess right before the timer runs out, they get another turn.If they don't guess right, the other team gets a turn. The other team also gets to guess what the character and situation that wasn't guessed (without any further acting, just based on what was already done), if they manage to guess it, the team that failed to guess their clue has to take back their last roll. The board consists of a single track with different colored spaces for the four type of characters(fictional, historical, occupation, or wild). - BoardGameGeek
